About Quick Skill Tree Pro

  • Art & Visuals > UI & GUI
Every RPG, roguelite, survival and idle game wants a skill tree. Quick Skill Tree Pro provides a visual graph editor to design the tree and a finished, animated board to place in front of players. Drag nodes, Alt‑drag to create prerequisites, and use Auto Layout to arrange rows, columns or radial constellations. Loops are detected and rejected, and built‑in validation flags nodes without skills, duplicates, or unreachable nodes. Locked skills dim, affordable ones pulse, links fill outward, and learning a rank fires a burst of light. Hovering shows requirements such as “Requires Frost Armor at rank 2”, “Spend 3 more points”, or “Requires level 5”. Mix four gate types: prerequisite with AND/OR and minimum rank, points‑spent tier, character level, and mutually exclusive groups. Refunds are checked against all gates and blocked refunds explain why. The system is a plain C# model with ranks, points, prerequisites, refunds and change events; the UI is optional. Save and load to JSON, prefs or file. Ranks are stored by skill id so later edits don’t corrupt saves. No dependencies: uGUI and Unity’s built‑in font, no TextTMP, no Input System, procedural node shapes, rings, glow and panels. Works on Built‑in, URP and HDRP. Full C# source included.
