About Gesture Animations Pack
- Art & Visuals > 3D
The animations are compatible with the humanoid rig in Unity.
Each gesture is provided in two forms:
Masked clip: animates only the arms, fingers and head and plays on an Animator layer with an avatar mask, over any animation of your character.
Full-body clip: the gesture combined with a sitting or a standing idle, ready to use in a state machine, Timeline or other 3D tools.
Gestures included:
Air Quotes: Both hands make two "quote" flicks at the head.
Call Me: Hand as a phone at the ear.
Come Here: Palm up, beckoning with the fingers.
Count: Counting from one to five on the fingers.
Facepalm: Palm over the eyes while the head shakes "no".
Finger Wag: "No-no" with the index finger.
Glasses: Finger rings in front of the eyes.
Heart: A heart shape with both hands at the chest.
Horns: "Rock" horns in front of the character.
Listen: Palms behind the ears, "I can't hear you".
OK: The OK ring at the face, then forward.
Point Self: Pointing at oneself, "me".
Pointing: Pointing forward and looking along the finger.
Shush: Index finger to the lips.
Thumbs Down: Thumbs down.
Thumbs Up: Thumbs up.
Victory: V sign with a forearm sway.
Every one-hand gesture can also be played with the left hand through humanoid mirroring. The included controller switches hands with a single Mirror parameter.
A sample scene shows all gestures on a seated and a standing character, and lets you drop in your own humanoid model to see the gestures on it before you integrate them.
