About Android Release Inspector
- Tools, Systems & Learning > Development Tools & Automation
Android Release Inspector helps you check APK and AAB files before you ship your game. Choose a new build, then compare it with an older build or an approved baseline.
See What Changed
The tool shows changes to permissions, app parts, SDK values, ABIs, signing certificates, and native libraries. It can also check supported 16 KB native library rules.
Get Proof, Not Guesses
You can give the tool a supported Gradle merger report. This helps show where some manifest changes came from. When proof is missing, the tool says the source is not available instead of guessing.
Use Clear Release Rules
Create rules for what is allowed, blocked, required, or pinned. The same rules can be used by your team and in CI.
Safe and Read-Only
Android Release Inspector never changes your build, manifest, Gradle files, keystore, or credentials. It lists the signing certificates found in a file, but it does not prove that the Android signature is valid.
Save and Share Results
Save the results as a JSON or text report. You can also run the same checks in Unity batch mode for automated release checks.
