World Map 2D Starter Edition

World Map 2D Starter Edition adds an interactive 2D political map to Unity scenes, procedurally drawing frontiers of 177 countries and locations of the 243 biggest cities in the world. Regions highlight on mouse over, and automatic country labels appear with placement options. Countries or continents can be colorized, and users can smoothly fly to any location by name. Imaginary lines for latitude, longitude, and cursor positions are supported. Customization includes frontier colors, highlight colors, and visibility of cities, frontiers, Earth, and labels. The asset provides a code-controllable API with C# source, a custom editor inspector, and operates entirely offline with included geographic data, requiring no internet. It is compatible with built-in and URP pipelines and has been tested on Android and iOS.
