Sun VFX URP

Sun VFX URP is a ready-to-use stylized sun effect designed for Unity projects using the Universal Render Pipeline. The package combines an animated procedural solar surface with a surrounding particle aura to create a bright, energetic and visually dynamic sun. It is suitable for space environments, fantasy worlds, sci-fi scenes, magical objects, portals, celestial bodies, level backgrounds and stylized game environments. The sun surface is created with an editable URP Shader Graph. Animated procedural noise and distortion generate a flowing plasma-like appearance without requiring an external surface texture. The material can be customized directly through the Inspector. Users can adjust the base color, animation speed, noise scale, noise intensity, distortion strength and twirl amount to create different solar surface styles. The surrounding solar particles are created with Unity Visual Effect Graph. The particle effect includes exposed Radius, Force and Color properties, allowing users to control the size, movement and appearance of the sun outer energy layer. A ready-to-use prefab is included with the animated material and particle effect already configured. The package also includes a demonstration scene for quickly previewing the effect and understanding the setup. Both the Shader Graph and Visual Effect Graph are fully editable, making the package suitable for realistic-looking stars, stylized suns, magical energy spheres and other glowing celestial effects. Bloom and HDR are recommended for achieving the strongest glow and emission result.
