Creating material variations shouldn't feel like a chore. Spectra: Material & Palette Studio removes the most tedious parts of material creation and replaces them with a fast, intuitive workflow that puts you in control and rewards your creativity every step of the way. Whether you're an indie developer building a world on your own, an artist who wants results without diving into code, a beginner finding your footing, or a studio looking to streamline production, Spectra is built for you. ONE WINDOW. EVERY TOOL YOU NEED. Generate color palettes using proven color theory across 14 palette modes including Complementary, Analogous, Triadic, Tetradic, Split-Complementary, Monochromatic, Shades, Tints, Warm, Cool, Neon, and Pastel. Lock the colors you love and regenerate the rest until your palette feels exactly right. Fine-tune your palette non-destructively with Hue, Saturation, and Brightness sliders that snapshot your starting point so nothing drifts. Preview every material live on multiple mesh shapes with multiple lighting setups before committing to anything. Save and load palette presets that travel with your project. Export palettes to PNG, ASE, GPL, HEX text, and Unity ColorPalette formats so your color work moves with you across tools. Generate organized, named material assets from your palette in seconds. Apply your palette directly to selected scene objects and see how it feels in context immediately. Capture full material configurations as reusable Variant Data, then apply them to any compatible material in your project. Browse, search, and tag your Variants in a dedicated Variant Library. Find every material in your project that already matches a Variant with a single click. Batch capture an entire folder of materials into Variants in one operation. Bundle materials into named Material Sets for targeted bulk operations. Spread a palette across a Material Set with smart anti-repeat distribution. Apply a Variant to every material in a Set in one click. Auto-generate random color variants when you need bulk variation fast. Full transparency and HDR emission support throughout, so your palette work respects whatever surface treatment you've already authored. Manage save paths and asset naming to keep your project clean and consistent from day one. Nothing is overwritten. Everything is additive and safe. Spectra is compatible with Built-in, URP, and HDRP. It automatically scans your shader properties and adapts to whatever pipeline you are working in. If no color change is visible on first use, simply select the correct color property for your shader. Built-in shaders typically use _Color while URP and HDRP use _BaseColor.
