About Advanced Spawn System For Horse Animset Pro And Animal Controller

  • Tools, Systems & Learning > Development Tools & Automation
Advanced Spawn System for Horse Animset Pro & Animal Controller provides a streamlined workflow for spawning, pooling and managing Animal Controller characters.
Create continuous spawning systems, independent spawn zones, terrain-biome populations and progressive waves with optional bosses. The integration includes dedicated Custom Inspectors, validation tools and configurable Animal Controller lifecycle settings.

This integration is included with the purchase of Advanced Spawn System.
It is an independent add-on built for Advanced Spawn System. It connects the main spawning framework with Horse Animset Pro and Animal Controller without modifying the original Malbers Animations scripts.

Safe Pooling:
The pooling system reuses inactive characters instead of repeatedly creating and destroying GameObjects.
When a pooled Animal Controller character returns, the integration can restore:
Active GameObject state
Health and Stats
Colliders
Rigidbody configuration
AI and navigation
Animal Controller Death and Base states
Wander Area
Position and rotation
Active objects are never reused. If the pool has no available member, it can expand safely until the configured population is satisfied.

Independent Multiple Zones:
Each zone can have its own:
AI Group
Population
Spawn radius
Wander Area
Continuous or wave-based generator
Wave configuration
Boss behavior
In Continuous Spawner mode, every zone maintains its own population and respawn timer. When one member dies, that zone starts its timer immediately without waiting for every member or every zone to become empty.

Waves and Bosses:
Create progressive waves with accurate runtime counters and optional bosses.
Each spawned character is counted once
Wave Start and Wave End events run once
Normal characters and bosses participate in wave completion
Boss death can safely finish the remaining AI
Compatible with normal instantiation and object pooling

NavMesh and Terrain Biomes:
Automatically place characters on valid NavMesh locations and detect common navigation configuration problems directly from the Inspector.
Terrain Biome mode allows characters to spawn using:
Selected Unity Terrain
Terrain Layer
Altitude thresholds
Explicitly calculated biome positions
Biome positions are recalculated only when requested, avoiding unnecessary Inspector processing.

Integrations and Compatibility:
- Animal Controller
- Horse Animset Pro
- Unity Terrain
- Gaia
- MapMagic 2
- Unity AI Navigation/NavMesh
- Multiple-player detection
