About Simple Offline Speech Recognition (STT)
SimpleOfflineSTT lets you perform speech recognition on AudioClips, raw audio data, or microphone input using Unity Inference, completely offline without networking or services. It works on Windows, Mac, WebGL and Android, using CPU or GPU. For transcription it uses OpenAI's pre-trained Whisper-Tiny model, which is accurate and supports over 90 languages, with base (~400MB), fp16 quantized (~200MB) and uint8 (~105MB) versions available.
