About Sharq UI System Kit

  • Tools, Systems & Learning > Development Tools & Automation
  • Art & Visuals > UI & GUI
Sharq UI System Kit bundles the complete Sharq UI System application layer: the SFC compiler (write + + in one .sharq file, get a plain [UxmlElement] C# class plus scoped USS), the reactive core (Prop, Computed, Watch), the router (routes, guards, nested screens, modal stack, KeepAlive, transitions) and a library of 69 UI components — buttons, forms, tables, dialogs, menus, tabs, tooltips and more — with dark/light themes, design tokens (var(--sus-*)), breakpoints and hot reload. Components are normal VisualElements: they work in UI Builder and plain UXML projects, and the generated code is readable C# you can debug and commit.

Restyle without editing C#. Override --sus-* tokens to recolor the kit at once, target a component class for a one-off look, and restyle states the same way — they are class-driven, not hard-coded colors in scripts. A small remainder of legacy C# appearance writes can still beat USS on those controls until migrated; the supported path is tokens and classes.

Self-contained. This package includes everything it needs — the Core and Router modules ship inside the package. No extra downloads, no git, no manual dependency steps: import and press Play. Core and Router are also available separately for free as Sharq UI System Core on the Asset Store (classic set) and, under the MIT License, on GitHub as a git package via Unity Package Manager. Do not install both channels in one project (see the dual-install warning in the Core listing). The free listing does not include the widget library.

Upgrade path. This listing sits in the middle of Core → Kit → Complete. Already using free Sharq UI System Core? This package contains that framework plus 69 widgets — use the Asset Store upgrade (or buy Kit at $50). Need game-specific UI (HUD, inventory, screens)? contains everything in this package plus the game components — upgrade for the difference in price instead of buying twice.

Requirements & limitations (please read): Unity 6000.3 or newer (hard floor — SVG icon import). UI Toolkit only, does not target uGUI/Canvas. .sharq compilation is Editor-time (no runtime authoring). No localization system, no gamepad navigation, no RTL; v-model-style binding is available from C# (BindModel), not in templates. Depends only on com.unity.ugui from the Unity registry (resolved automatically).

Third-party licensing: includes Phosphor Icons (MIT) and Montserrat (SIL OFL 1.1); full texts in Third-Party Notices.txt.
