About Retro UI Sound Effects: 8-bit, 16-bit, PS1 & 32-bit | 210 Files

  • Audio > Sound Effects & Ambience
  • Theme > Retro & Arcade
UI sound effects in four distinct retro console styles, so your menus match your art style instead of approximating it. An 8‑bit confirm and a PS1‑era confirm are not the same sound. This pack gives you both, plus 16‑bit and 32‑bit era versions, all built from the same six UI events so you can swap eras without rebuilding your audio setup. WHAT'S INSIDE 210 WAV files, organised as 4 eras × 6 events × variations. Eras: 8‑bit — NES/Game Boy era, square and triangle waves; 16‑bit — SNES/Mega Drive era, richer and sample‑based; PS1 era — early 3D, lo‑fi and slightly grainy; 32‑bit — late‑gen sprite work, cleaner and fuller. Events (all four eras): Hover, Select, Back, Menu open / confirm, Menu close / decline, Error. Multiple variations of every sound, so repeated clicks don't sound identical. FORMAT: WAV, 44.1 kHz / 24‑bit; descriptive naming (e.g., sfx_ui_8bit_confirm_01.wav); sorted into folders by era; same filenames across eras — swap “8bit” for “ps1” etc., the event stays the same.
