Procedural UIX — Sprite-Free UI Image

Every time a designer changes a corner radius, someone has to re-export a sprite. Procedural UIX removes that step.

It draws UI shapes mathematically in a shader instead of sampling a texture, so a rounded panel becomes a component setting rather than an art asset. Change the radius in the Inspector and it updates live. Scale it from a phone to a 4K display and the edge stays clean, because there is no bitmap being stretched. Drop the component on any UI element, pick a shape, and adjust it in the Inspector.

Shapes
- 12 shape modes: Circle, Ellipse, Heart, and every polygon from Triangle through Dodecagon (3–12 sides)
- Four corner modes: Uniform, Independent per-corner, Corner Pair, and Auto Round
- Corner Pair rounds only the top, bottom, left or right corners — the usual case for tabs, headers and list rows
- Polygon corner rounding, from sharp edges to fully rounded
- Free polygon rotation, 0–360 degrees
- Auto Round holds a true circle or ellipse as the element resizes

Style
- Adjustable border width for outlined or filled shapes
- Adjustable edge softness, from crisp to feathered
- Smooth anti-aliased edges at any resolution or scale
- Solid colours, plus Linear, Radial and Corner gradients
- Adjustable gradient resolution
- Overlay a sprite or texture on top of any procedural shape

Fits the UI you already have
- Right-click any UI Image to convert it in place — sprite, colour and raycast settings are kept, and so are Button and Toggle references
- Create from GameObject > UI, with the Canvas configured for you
- Simple, Sliced, Tiled and Filled image types
- Sprites from a Sprite Atlas
- Works inside Mask and Rect Mask 2D
- It is an Image subclass, so layout groups, Buttons and animations all behave normally

Performance
- Shared materials keep rounded-corner elements batching into a single draw call
- Elements using gradients get their own material, and the Inspector tells you which are batching and which are not
- No atlas memory, no texture imports
