I have built my fur shader with simple texture masking to remove hair in areas such as whiskers, eyes and paws easily.
The following 3rd party fur add-on tools has some issues with my model:
AddOn_NekoMew_FurryGrooming.scene (Furry Grooming Tool asset required)
Known Issues: There are two floating furs in front of the model after applying as of Unity 2022.3.13

Known Issues: Unable to clear fur from eyes due to buggy painting tool as of Unity 2022.3.13
