Package Manager Enhanced

The Asset Store experience Unity's Package Manager never gave you. Package Manager Enhanced brings rich media previews, selective (partial) .unitypackage import and an AI assistant that searches your purchased assets in plain language — all inside the Editor. Browse, preview, watch prices, organize and update your entire library without ever opening a browser.

Rich Store Browsing:
- Full Asset Store search inside the Editor — result cards with icon, publisher, star rating and price, with paging.
- Store-style details page — screenshot carousel, in-editor mp4 video preview, plus YouTube and Sketchfab 3D-preview links when the listing provides them.
- Complete metadata at a glance — version, package size, publish date, supported Unity versions, tags, full description and a "View on Asset Store" link.
- "Owned" badges on search results — instantly see what you already purchased.
- Optional AI re-rank — one toggle re-orders the top results with the LLM of your choice and annotates each match with a score and a reason.

Partial Import:
- Selective .unitypackage import — an indented, filterable toggle tree with per-file type labels and sizes; import only the checked entries while GUIDs and .meta files stay intact.
- AI Import Advisor — describe your goal ("I only need the health system") and let the AI pick the files, each with a reason; apply as a new selection or add to the current one.
- Import presets — save named selection presets and reuse them across packages.
- UnityPackage Inspector — open any local .unitypackage before importing: type distribution, an import-impact summary (new files vs. overwrites vs. total size), overwrite warnings, embedded asset previews, and a package-to-package comparison that lists file conflicts.

AI Power (Optional — Bring Your Own Key):
- AI Assistant chat — search the assets you own in plain language and get ranked matches with human-readable reasons; click a result to open its details page.
- Two search scopes — "My Assets" for your library, "Asset Store" to let the AI re-rank keyword results from the whole public catalog.
- Chat history — conversations are stored locally (up to 25 sessions); reopen any past search without spending tokens again.
- Match policy control — Strict, Balanced or Explorer: decide whether the AI returns only exact matches or also close alternatives.
- 16 built-in providers + custom endpoint — Anthropic, Cerebras, DeepSeek, Google Gemini, Groq, Kimi Code, Mistral AI, OpenAI, opencode Go, opencode Zen, OpenRouter, Perplexity, Together AI, xAI (Grok), plus local servers Ollama and LM Studio — and any custom OpenAI-compatible gateway. Model and base URL are overridable; a built-in connection test validates your key.
- Fully offline AI option — point the assistant at a local Ollama or LM Studio server and no data leaves your machine.

Library Management:
- My Assets grid — your purchased packages with filter by name/publisher, category and tag dropdowns, sorting (name, publisher, recently purchased) and Downloaded/Update badges.
- Update Center — automatic update detection against your local downloads; filter to updatable assets, then batch-update (or batch-download) any selection with a multi-select mode and live progress.
- Organize your library — favorites, hidden items, custom tags and per-asset notes, all persisted locally.
- Price Watch — watch any store package's price; a silent background check flags drops with a "Price dropped: $X → $Y" badge on the details page, a notification-center entry and a console warning.
- Library Insights dashboard — totals (owned / downloaded / updates pending), a top-categories chart, the "Dusty Shelf" of purchases you never downloaded, and the disk footprint of your download cache with one-click folder access.
- Smart local caching — downloads and the My Assets list are cached locally so your library stays browsable offline.
