About Input Mapper for Unity | Interactive Rebinding and Dynamic Prompts
Input Rebind provides extended runtime interactive input rebinding, allowing you to add, remove, or modify input processors on any binding, automatically swap existing bindings within an input map, suppress gameplay input during rebinding, and filter devices or controls with required, ignore, and cancel paths.
Input Prompt automatically updates based on the active device or control scheme, simplifies composite bindings into a single clean display, supports animated sprites for dynamic UI feedback, shows interaction sprites (replaced or overlayed), uses a dirty‑flag update system for performance, and works with all keyboard layouts.
Input Skin lets you fully customize control display names, short names, icons, and more, manages all device control icons in a single asset, can generate TextMeshPro sprite assets with one click, supports Sprite Atlas (.spriteatlasv2), and includes a robust fallback system.
The save system persists bindings using PlayerPrefs, persistent data path, or a custom save system, ensures binding paths, interactions, and processor overrides are saved, enables saving and loading of multiple Input Action Assets simultaneously, and automatically saves on exit and loads on startup.
Ideal for Mono and IL2CPP backends, PC, WebGL, mobile, and console projects, it provides multi‑device support (keyboard/mouse, gamepad, touchscreen, etc.) and offers a clean, extensible foundation for developers.
