It helps identify excessive polygons, too much transparency, or wasted transparency due to large empty spaces on textures. This tool is recommended for projects with performance issues caused by high GPU use. It adds overlays to the Scene View to find overdraw of opaque and transparent elements, invisible culled opaque polygons, and wasted transparency. You can also scan your scene to search for common performance issues caused by objects.
