About Easy UI - AI-Native Responsive UI Toolkit
- Tools, Systems & Learning > Development Tools & Automation
- Theme > Retro & Arcade
- Art & Visuals > UI & GUI
Easy UI is a complete UI Toolkit foundation for game interfaces - built entirely on UXML & USS, so every screen is text you can read, diff, and version-control. Compose it by hand, in UI Builder, or hand it to an AI agent that edits the files and verifies the result from a screenshot.
Around 39 themeable components cover menus, HUDs, data and controls - buttons, cards, tabs, modals, toasts, sliders, dropdowns, tables, pagination, breadcrumbs, calendars and color pickers, plus game UI like dialogue boxes, leaderboards, quest logs, ability buttons with cooldown, joystick, D-pad, radial menu and weapon wheel. Every component is driven by one design-token set, so the 7 included themes (Minimal Dark, Sci-Fi Neon, Fantasy, Light, Retro Arcade, Neon Cyberpunk, Soft Pastel) are just token files - swap one to reskin your whole UI, or build your own with the live theme editor.
A procedural shape generator (Painter2D) draws crisp panels, rings and badges at runtime with CSS-like values - no sprite imports. A screen wizard scaffolds full screens across 12 screen types (main menu, settings, HUD, pause, game over, loading, inventory, shop, lobby, dialogue, leaderboard, character select). Editor tooling: a live preview (no play mode), a shape studio, an actions-wiring generator, a live theme editor and a headless screenshot capture. A responsive layer (breakpoints, safe-area), localization and data-binding helpers, and keyboard/gamepad focus are built in.
AI-native: because the whole UI is text, an AI coding agent can author and verify screens directly - and it pairs with the AI Forge suite. Works with Built-in, URP and HDRP.
