About Deformable Tires

This package provides a realistic and efficient tire deformation system based on rigging techniques. Simply assign a Unity Wheel Collider, and the tire will automatically respond to the load applied to the wheel.
As forces change—whether from added vehicle weight, acceleration, or terrain interaction—the tire deforms accordingly, producing convincing visual results. Multiple parameters are available to fine-tune deformation behavior and achieve the desired look.
You can dynamically switch between normal and flat tire states at runtime. The wheel radius updates in real time to match the current deformation, maintaining consistent interaction with Unity's physics system.
A built-in dirt layer allows you to control the tire's level of dirtiness. This layer deforms together with the tire, preserving visual coherence.
The package includes several pre-rigged tire models, as well as a Blender file and instruction video to guide you in rigging your own custom tires.
