Darkline props are modular meshes for seamless coverage of flat surfaces, wall edges, and corners, representing alien life forms with a black drawing aesthetic of thin smooth or tangled bold tentacles. The core functionality is a highly configurable shader that generates procedural visuals from a single tileable texture. Features include noise-based line animation, bulge waves, thickness and emission controls, separate base color and hue adjustments, smoothness and metallicness settings, normal map support, and randomization via min-max ranges. Texture manipulation enables crawling effects and scaling. The shader operates in URP and HDRP with mixable mask types: along lines, depth, per-line values, head-to-limb gradients, and additional limb or hair/head thickness controls, enabling visual styles from dark nightmarish to intricate cybernetic designs.
