Compass Navigator Pro 4 is a complete UI navigation system for adventure, RPG and open-world games. It features a fully customizable compass bar, a live mini-map with fog of war and radar, on/off-screen POI indicators, and an animated Route system that guides players straight to their destination. Drag the prefab into your scene, customize everything from one centralized inspector, and you're ready to go.\n\nNew in version 4:\n- Route system: draw an animated, guided path shown on the mini-map, projected as a holographic line in the 3D world, and as a directional cue on the compass bar. Provide waypoints from script, the inspector, or Unity's NavMesh.\n- Save / Load State: persist fog of war, active route, visited and runtime POIs, and mini-map view into your own save files and restore them instantly.\n- Up to 4 compass instances: independent compasses, each with its own screen viewport and POI groups, for split-screen multiplayer and multi-camera setups.\n- More control: global Show POIs toggles, new creation events (compass bar/mini-map/indicators) and virtual methods for easy subclassing.\n\nUI Features Included:\n- Compass Bar: 14 ready-to-use designs, customizable appearance, world-mapping modes, support for cardinal/ordinal points, high-resolution icons, optional distance text, auto-hide when no POIs visible.\n- Mini-map: 12 ready-to-use styles plus custom textures, fog of war, full-screen mode, zoom/pan, LUT support, clickable interface, optional cone of view, animated circle effect, area of influence circles.\n- Radar system: toggle mini-map to radar mode, draw procedural rings with accurate distances, customize width, color, opacity, scale, optional scan animation.\n- Animated Route & waypoint guidance: renders on mini-map, in-world holographic line, compass cue. Supports marching ants, dots, arrows, dashes, solid styles, custom textures, flow speed, corner smoothing, travelled-part coloring, auto-advance, per-waypoint markers, optional in-world billboards.\n- Target and off-screen indicators with anti-overlap stacking.\n- Beacon/heartbeat effects and world scan effect.\n\nOther Key Features:\n- Easy to use: drag-and-drop prefab, centralized inspector, add POIs via component, customize each POI.\n- Powerful options: curved bars, cone of view, LUT/color grading for mini-map, extensive styling.\n- Interactive mini-map: click or hover POIs, enter full-screen, zoom/pan.\n- Route guidance: point-to-point lines or NavMesh paths, travelled-part coloring, auto-managed next waypoint.\n- Save / Load State: capture runtime state (fog of war, route, visited POIs, mini-map view) into your save system.\n- Split screen / multiple instances: run up to 4 compass navigator instances with independent viewports and POI groups.\n- Event system for location discovery, icon appearance/disappearance, mouse interactions, and more.\n- Area of Interest to focus on POIs within a distance and improve performance.\n\nRoute (New in v4):\nGuide players without taking over UI. Renders on three surfaces: animated polyline on mini-map, holographic line in world, directional cue on compass bar. Set routes from script (point list or direct line to a position/POI), author them in inspector as waypoints, or compute with Unity NavMesh. Supports animated styles (marching ants, dots, arrows, dashes, solid), custom textures, flow speed, corner smoothing, travelled-part coloring, auto-advance, per-waypoint markers, optional in-world billboards.\n\nCompass Bar:\n14 ready designs (rounded, angled, Celtic, fantasy, sci-fi, custom art). Four world-mapping modes (frustum, screen, 180°, 360°). Customizable position, size, curvature, edge fade, alpha, automatic fade. Supports cardinal/ordinal ticks. High-resolution icons with fade/scale, visited vs non-visited variations, focus on a single POI.\n\nRevealing Text & Effects:\nOptional title with distance, animated text under/above bar on discovery, audio clips (5 high-quality sounds), two icon variations per POI for unexplored/explored states.\n\nMini-map:\nEfficient snapshot system for performance. 12 ready styles plus custom textures. Configurable size, alpha, zoom range, camera mode, projection, icon size. Supports LUT textures, real-world view or custom map, clickability, cone of view, animated circle, area of influence.\n\nFog of War:\nOccludes unexplored areas. Auto-clear as player moves based on fog volumes. Save/restore discovered state via Save / Load State API.\n\nRadar:\nToggle mini-map to radar mode, draw procedural rings with accurate distances. Customize width, color, opacity, scale in meters. Optional scan animation.\n\nScreen Indicators:\nOn-screen icons with optional title & distance over visible or in-range POIs. Off-screen indicators stacked on edges with anti-overlap.\n\nSave / Load State (New in v4):\nCapture a compass' runtime state into a compact blob, store in your save file, restore later: fog of war discovery, active route and progress, visited POIs, runtime-created POIs, mini-map view. Choose which subsystems to save with a simple scope flag.\n\nExtras:\n- World Scan effect: run simultaneous visual scans, reveal/activate POIs, display on mini-map and compass, include event support.\n- Light Beacons: vertical beam from POI to sky to highlight target.\n- Heartbeat option: play custom audio at variable intervals based on distance.\n- Multi-scene support: preserve visited POI state between scene changes.\n\nFrom the makers of Compass Navigator Pro, trusted across multiple versions with responsive support and continuous updates.
