Block Associations is a complete word puzzle game template for Unity, designed for creating and customizing word-association puzzle games. It features modular word-matching mechanics with multiple rule variations, an integrated level editor, and a mechanics playground for real-time gameplay experimentation. All systems are data-driven and easy to extend, making it ideal for building casual and hyper-casual puzzle games for mobile or desktop. The template includes word association gameplay with vertical and horizontal matching modes, adjustable word length and scoring rules, and multiple win and lose conditions based on time, moves, or score. An integrated visual level editor supports manual and procedural puzzle layouts, with levels saveable and loadable using JSON. Five example puzzle levels are included. A mechanics playground enables live gameplay tuning with rule toggles and difficulty sliders, plus instant level reset and regeneration tools. All systems use ScriptableObject-based configuration with no hardcoded gameplay rules, allowing easy replacement of visuals, fonts, and UI styles. The template supports mobile, desktop, and WebGL export.
