Edit your game data like a spreadsheet—with every change previewed before it is applied.

Athena Asset Tables brings your existing ScriptableObjects into a configurable Unity Editor table. Sort, filter, edit cells, copy and paste, and apply repeatable batch recipes without moving your data into a new database or framework.

Balance and maintain data faster

- Edit selected assets together, fill values down a column, or run arithmetic and text operations.
- Save recipes for repeatable changes such as adjusting rewards, scaling health, or standardizing names.
- Configure columns, filters, sorting, and saved views for different tasks.

Bring spreadsheets into your workflow

- Import CSV, TSV, flat JSON, or a shared Google Sheets CSV link.
- Map columns explicitly, match assets by GUID or a unique key, and ignore spreadsheet-only columns.
- Preview matched updates and explicitly requested new assets before applying.
- Export data for spreadsheet editing and reimport.

Review changes and recover from mistakes

- Edits remain pending until you choose Apply.
- Stale-data checks prevent applying a preview over assets that have changed.
- Undo a batch in one step.
- Use operation history, named snapshots, and a recovery journal to review or restore changes. Recovery reports conflicts when files have changed since the operation.

Work with more than simple values

Supported workflows include prefab components, materials, asset references, lists, managed references, and import settings for textures, audio, models, and video. Reference cells can display thumbnails and audio previews. Validation rules help identify missing values, duplicate keys, invalid ranges, and broken references.

Genre-independent and customizable

Use Athena Asset Tables for RPG items and abilities, strategy units, enemy balancing, progression settings, or other data represented by supported Unity assets. It works with your existing serialized classes. C# source is included for customization, and saved views, mappings, and recipes can be shared through version control.

Game Data Demo included

Explore enemy, item, and ability definitions, sample spreadsheets, recipes, pixel-art sprites, and sound effects.

Athena Asset Tables is an editor tool. Only its small metadata attributes assembly enters player builds. There is no runtime database, DRM, telemetry, or background synchronization. Google Sheets access occurs only when you request a CSV download.

Scene-object editing, adding prefab components, dictionaries, and localization tables are not supported. Large-table input and scrolling may feel slower on Linux.

Asset uses “Tiny Dungeon” and “Impact Sounds” by Kenney under CC0 1.0; see Third-Party Notices.txt file in package for details.
