About Asset Library Pro
- Tools, Systems & Learning > Development Tools & Automation
Instead of working through a simple package list, Asset Library Pro presents your owned Asset Store packages as a visual card-based library with thumbnails, clear package states, filtering, favorites, collections, and detailed product information.
Browse your Asset Store library visually
• Thumbnail-based asset cards
• Search by asset name
• Filter by category and publisher
• Small, Medium, and Large card layouts
• Detailed asset information and Asset Store links
Understand package state at a glance
Asset Library Pro distinguishes between:
• Owned
• Downloading
• Downloaded
• Imported
• Re-download required
Download progress is shown directly inside the library when available.
Organize large asset collections
• Mark assets as Favorites
• Create custom Collections
• Add the same asset to multiple Collections
• Quickly filter your library by Downloaded or Imported state
Safe Remove from Project
Imported assets can be removed using Asset Store origin metadata instead of guessing which folder belongs to a package.
Matching package files are moved to the operating system Trash / Recycle Bin, while the downloaded Asset Store package remains available for future imports.
Render Pipeline Compatibility
Asset Library Pro detects the current project render pipeline and can warn when a downloaded package appears to contain potentially incompatible Built-in, URP, or HDRP-specific content.
Advanced: Import to Folder
An optional advanced workflow allows imported Asset Store content to be relocated into a custom project folder while preserving Unity GUIDs and .meta files.
Normal Unity Import remains the recommended workflow for maximum compatibility, as some third-party packages may rely on hard-coded original asset paths.
Asset Library Pro is completely Editor-only and does not add runtime components to your game.
